The Goddess Of 1967

The coldness of Japan versus the heat of the Australian desert; the greyish blue smog of the city versus the pure air of the countryside. In paying particular attention to colour saturation-to convey more intensively the emotion of the moment-the filmmaker takes us on a voyage where two people, dissillusioned and burnt by life, learn to understand each other through their differences. A Japanese man travels to a small Australian town in the middle of nowhere to pick up a Citroën DS. When he arrives there, a young blind woman offers to take him to the owner. During a journey that brings them across some of the most isolated areas of the world, they explore their troubled pasts.
